Sofie Sausser is a graphic artist, avid recycler and DIYer extraordinaire. Sausser is currently combining these obsessions with a new line of home accessories made from reclaimed wood which will be available this spring. Sausser is a contributor to Eco Salon where she regularly posts on reinventing and reusing flea market finds and recyclables. Her eco-smart posts have also appeared on sites such as ReadyMade, PopSugar and Apartment Therapy. Sausser keeps busy by putting together gift baskets with her partner.
Sausser graduated from UCLA with a BA in art and was an assistant to legendary graphic designer/filmmaker Saul Bass at Saul Bass/Herb Yager and Associates. She also worked as a greeting card designer for Paper Moon Graphics, collaborating with up-and-coming illustrators and cartoonists such as Matt Groening (The Simpsons). Sausser lives with her fiance, three children, two large dogs outside of Los Angeles in Agoura Hills, CA.
